ABOUT ME

I am very passionate about my goals in life. I plan to be a film-maker someday. I have done a ton of local and statewide acting and have been making little movies since I was 11. I currently shoot with my Canon XL2 camera and edit on my iMac, soon to be using Final Cut pro. My second passion is music. I probably listen to my iPod on average 4 hours a day. My first love in music is Piano...I play Piano/Synth, mostly Synthesizers and keyboards these days in my bands. I also play guitar and drums. My bands are Torgo! and Scamtron, and we play a lot of local shows. We are working on Torgo!'s second album, "Choose Your Own Adventure", which is a huge deal, and Scamtron just finished our first album, "RetroFuture". Torgo! is indie rock pretty much, we sound like The Strokes and Kings of Leon and Midlake sort of...we have our own sound though. Scamtron is on this whole NEW RAVE bandwagon...we sound a little like Cut Copy and New Young Pony Club and The Rapture. It's Dance music.

I am a devout Christian, non-denomenational. I read a ton of books and my favorite author is C.S. Lewis. His apologetics are life-changing, but his fiction is even moreso. I do not make Christian music, however, because it sucks. I hope that someday I can make films with subtle Christian themes that fit into the mainstream of popular movies.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in a personal and intimate relatioship with our Saviour, Jesus Christ. I am usually willing to hold up my end of the argument for Intelligent Design, but I expect complete open-ness and maturity in a debate. I will not continue the debate if personal attacks or anger get in the way of the argument.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My room-mate was involved and while travelling in Germany I decided to get my own account. I think it's a great relationship-builder and a cool way to experience other cultures.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had a few people stay at a house I lived in in Amarillo and I have stayed with people in Germany. I really had a good time...it's a great way to get to know the community firsthand.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I have met and spoken with Elie Wiesel and Chris Gardner, flown over the canyon in a hot air balloon, flown in a couple helicopters, once over a corn maze and another time over the city, I have seen dozens of murder scenes and a handful of dead bodies...creepy...I've seen a 45 car pile up...most of this stuff happened while working in News. Uh...I've climbed to the top of the Schilthorn and down in one day...I've travelled quite a bit....I've performed quite a bit...I don't know.
