I am a South African traveller currently living in the United States.
I love travelling and meeting new people on my journey, I have travelled to Thailand and I am currently living in the state of New York. I will be here in the United States for a year. I return to South Africa this year in September. There is still so much I have to see before I leave and not only of New York!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couch surfing is a much better alternative than just going to an Air BnB/hotel/backpackers because you meet people on your adventure instead of just being completely solo all the time. I love learning about new cultures and the way other people live. I also love the fact that it allows you to make lifelong friends on your adventure. Cultural exchange is such an eye-opening experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to various types of genres and it all depends on where I am and what the environment is like but my favourite is laid back, chilled music along the lines of Alt-J, Chet Faker, Jeremy Loops (South African artist), Dennis Lloyd, Stick Figure etc.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn more about the areas I visit than the places you see on the surface. I want to see things that I wouldn't think of seeing if I go alone. Especially if there's limited time to explore!
