Overview
About Me
My name is Tori but you can call me Albuquerque! I am a budding neurobiologist and work as an intern at the UofL health sciences campus. I'm also a senior biology major and barista at a local coffee shop called Heine Brothers. I'm a bit introverted but genuine and honest. I enjoy more one-on-one time or small groups so I can really get to know you! Also love to go on new adventures either traveling around KY/TN or around the US.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet new people and immerse myself in different ways of thinking and cultures by either hosting or visiting.
Interests
SCIENCE! Talk anything science with me and you'll have my full attention. Birds and coffee are my other loves. If you like nature and Stephen Hawking, we're destined to get along. I also enjoy learning about new cultures and immersing myself in the music and food. My boyfriend and I like to find new cuisines and try to cook new things all the time. (We cook a lot of vegetarian/vegan stuff)
Music, Movies, and Books
Mostly indie folk/Americana, but my music taste is all over the place. Big mystery fan for both books and movies. Obsessed with Hannibal, both the TV show and the books. I enjoy indie films, foreign films, and documentaries.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Don't mean to brag or anything, but I've drunk an entire pot of coffee all by myself.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to tell you all the things I know about neuroscience! Constantly learning and wondering about things everyday and would love to learn new things from you!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Food, coffee, random biology facts, vegan/vegetarian dinner
