Hello! I'm Tori -- I am a student, I am 20 years old, I am living in Minnesota, and I love finding creative ways to explore the world, like using CouchSurfing! I am in my third year at the University, studying Theatre arts, Communications, and Journalism. Although I don't have much time to travel while in school, I've made it a goal of mine to go to at least one new U.S. state or country every year! I am currently studying abroad in Dublin, Ireland for a semester and am loving how much I've been learning about the country and the culture, and how much I've been discovering about myself.

I love being outdoors. I'm happiest when I'm out in the fresh air -- biking, hiking, camping, paddle-boarding, long-boarding, swimming, exploring... I love it all :)

I always forward to going to places that I haven't been to before and meeting people in different countries that are different from me. I've learned a lot from being in unfamiliar surroundings, and I am grateful to constantly be finding myself in such places. :)

I come from a family of 6. I have three brothers back home in Minnesota, and they're all growing up while I'm here! It's a strange feeling to be so far away and sort of detached from my siblings, but we find ways to keep in contact, which I appreciate.

Music is one of a few forces in my life that has driven me to the place that I'm in now. It holds so much emotion, memory, and inspiration -- where would I be without music? Some groups that have greatly impacted my life:

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am Couchsurfing because, being a college student, I can hardly afford toilet paper. Couchsurfing is a great opportunity to save money on lodging. I also like getting local's perspectives on places that I visit, rather than going along the usual tourist route to exploring new areas.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I paddle-boarded across 5 lakes last summer! That was a good 12-hour trip.
