Overview
About Me
Hi there, I'm Tori. I am a fourth year university student studying in Provence, France. I am practicing to be an urban planner, world traveler, art creator, music maker, introspective thinker, empathetic listener, nature preserver.
Salut! Je m'appelle Tori et je suis une étudiante américaine. J'étudie la langue française et la géographie.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Growing up, my family of six would pack into a car and take road trips around the United States. My grandparents with whom I am very close have hosted international travelers as long as I can remember, as well as traveled to many countries in Europe, and to India, doing homestays. The memories and friendships that they have made have inspired me seek international friendships that break down borders and further my contemplation of what makes us human.
I am on Couchsurfing to meet amazing people, share cultures, expand my knowledge in every way possible, and to have an awesome time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I took the plunge and moved to France by myself to study at a university in Provence. Over the past six months I've experienced my highest highs and my lowest lows of my life so far, and every day I'm learning more about the world and myself.
Je suis venue en France toute seule, sans aucun idée où aller, où habiter, quoi voir, mais je me suis installée et je fais mes études actuellement à une université en Provence.
Teach, Learn, Share
The more I see, the more I understand. The more I learn, the more aware I am that I know very little. // Le plus que je vois, le plus que je comprend. En apprenant, je comprends que je sais peu.
Hungry for knowledge and friendship : who wants to prepare + share a meal together ?
I study geography because I am fascinated by how a population shapes a space and inversely, how the space shapes a population. I'd love to hear about how you interact with your environment: transportation, leisure, social encounters, etc :-)
I love to learn about plants and the healing power of nature.
What I Can Share with Hosts
