I am deeply into education -- but not teaching. I love science, publishing, and editing. So I do science communication and outreach however, wherever I can.

I'm a celiac and I avoid corn and soy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Surfed for awhile through Europe my first time out of Canada. Then made friends and stayed with them. Been awhile due to moves, and will soon be back in the ring.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Music, Movies, and Books

The Mountain Goats, Fred Eaglesmith, Angel Haze, and Magnolia Electric Co. are just right tops.
The Brontes, Dave Eggers, Michael Ondaatje, and Douglas Adams are always favourite authors. Molly Lambert rules the internet.
Nedroid is the best webcomic, and Sandman is the best print comic. Oooh, and Uncanny X-Men.
i like goofy movies and TV, generally speaking.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The people i have around me are the most extraordinary, wonderful things in my life. And i don't mean that in a cheesy, love-it-all way, even if i do love it all sometimes. Just, they are pretty funny and awful and strange, and that is a lucky thing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm trying to improve my French by reading French books, if you have recommendations. I'm trying to learn Spanish by reading comic books. I need to watch more movies.
