My name is Lucie and I am 22 years old hitchhiker from Czech Republic who loves wild life :) I speak native Czech, cook Italian, study Chinese and live nomadic. I also study archeology but when I was a child, I wanted to be nomadic circus artist. That's the reason why I still love travelling and theatre ;-) My favourite hobby is LIFE, but I also enjoy various kinds of art and sports. My passion is dance and mountains, so if you meet somebody dancing at the top of Mt. Everest, that will be probably me :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music which forces me dance, movies which make me feel and books which kick my brain. To be more specific, I can find all these aspects in the movie Into the wild which is based on a book and have a beautiful soundtrack made by Eddie Vedder - the leader of my favourite group Pearl Jam. As he does, I also find an inspiration in musicians like Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix and Velvet Underground. As for movies and books I prefer the biografical ones - Frida, Basquiat, Modigliani, Searching for Sugarman, Edith Piaf, Doors, Total Eclipse, Lords of Dogtown, The Theory of Everything etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived one year in China. Hitch-hiked across the Thailand for one month with my best friends. Slept in a shopping trolley on the way back from Romania. Climbed mountains close to Tibet. Wrote a song. Participated in running competiton. Painted a wall in my friend's apartment. Draw a heart in a snow, so my boyfriend could see it from a window. And other little things :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to learn new things so I am especially interested in everything, so I like to host and meet all kind of people :)

I have a part-time job as a waitress in jazz music club so we can go there for a live music concert and beer or wine :) Usually there are performing foreign musicians but I know a lot of other places where we can see some czech artists performing including music clubs and theatres because I just love art events.

I am also partly working as teacher of chinese language so I can teach you some basics if you plan to visit China in the future :)

Most of the time I cook vegetarian but I can recommend you some good restaurants if you want to eat meat.
