About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To write the world's first best-selling novel in Chinglish :)
ABOUT ME
In 2003, when I first visited Shanghai, I had some name cards printed. I listed my occupation as 江湖游俠 (jiang hu you xia). The closest English term I could think of is vagabond.
I came back to Shanghai in Sep 2013 and I have a similar card printed again. You could view it in one of my photos here.
I am back in Shanghai in Sep 2014. The mobile number in the card mentioned above is no longer valid.
PHILOSOPHY
Philosophy is too philosophical for me.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have low-brow tastes. I am a shallow person who listens to elevator music, watches action movies and "read" comics.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In 2005, while visiting Shanghai, I had a haircut which cost me 4 kuai (about 68 cents). My friend (a fellow Chinese Canadian), who was also in Shanghai, remarked that it looked like a 4-kuai haircut.
My friend is an idiot. Hence, the amazing thing to me is not the 4-kuai haircut but the fact that my idiotic friend could make such a witty remark :)
This is the same friend who bought an ugly jacket in Shanghai. He tried to return it after we laughed at him. Instead, the lady shopkeeper sold him another uglier one. Now he has two ugly jackets in Montreal.
