About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Last trip was Nepal and West Africa - daydreaming of next trip

ABOUT ME

I'm a laid back 35 year-old English male with a keen interest in travel and trekking. I have done quite a few trips in the last 12 years and have worked in between, usually on Government IT projects, but since the credit crunch have been working in retail and now banking. I studied politics at uni and have an interest in world affairs. I'm interested in meeting other travellers or like-minded souls in far flung places in the world.

PHILOSOPHY

Live to travel, work is to pay the bills....

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've relocated to London but as i am in a shared flat (like most people) i can't really offer a couch. I can meet up at weekends for either tourist stuff, food, coffee or pubbing and clubbing!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed in Morocco and in Senegal. I met some great people and had a really postive experience. As i'm in London i thought i'd see if people want any tourist advice or just to meet up for a coffee.

Music, Movies, and Books

I travel more when i'm on the road and at the moment have the Stiegg Larson books. I have Shantaram sitting on my shelf but need to start reading it soon...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Too many to name but being up close to Mount Everest is an amazing thing to have done.

Teach, Learn, Share

Few chords and tunes on the guitar, used to play Cello as well. Extensive knowledge of travel around the globe.
