ABOUT ME

Hi, everyone ;) I'm Igor, currently I live in Thailand, and try to introduce this country to others from best sides. Since 2011 I work in tourism (I used to work in Greece 🇬🇷, Maldives, Thailand and Austria). I don't have enough space in my apartment to host, but I will be more than happy to meet-up for coffee or wine, show you around or eat some local food. I like to talk about travel, culture, traditions and know more about your country! So, let's meet up !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I knew Couchsurfing from Internet. In 2008 I planed my trip in Finland, and I looking for something new and interesting way of traveling for me. I read information about CS in Internet...and I'm here ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I get my first CS experience in 2008. I surf in Peter's flat (Helsinki, Finland). After, I have my hosting experience, when Ludovic from Marseille stay in my place (in Volgograd). Actually, when I travel, I every time visited CS-meetings. Now, I use CS very often, when I travel, because it's very interesting and every time you can find lot of fun for you ;)

Interests

My love - it's traveling. In my dreams, I want visit all countries in the world. Also I'm addicted of Greece (I love this country so much, I think I was a Greek in past lifes :). I like sport (by the way, my education - "Sport manager") - training by my self and watching. My favorite is football (soccer). Sometimes, I try something new - american football or capoera. Sometimes I work like a tour-guide around the world. I like to cook. My favorite cousin - Greek, Italian, Indian, Burmese, Mexican or something new or exotic. For good food I prefer wine (white dry), but I don't like strong alcohol. And, also, I don't smoke. I like watching movies in cinema or at home. I like meet with my friends or with new interesting people. I like music. By the way, when I was study in school, I play on drums in school rock-band ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

I like different kind of music. It depends of my mood. For example sometimes I like "Oasis", "U-2", "The Rolling Stones", "Manu Chao", Cesaria Evora", "Buena vista social club"; sometimes, classical music and folk; sometimes, Paul Van Duke and Tiesto and more-more-more!It's hard, to choice one favorite movie. I like different kind. Usually, I watch one movie per day :)
