I graduated from Indiana University Bloomington and am looking to do some traveling and experience the world! I am attempting to be more spontaneous and experience as much as I can while I'm young and full of life. I love exploring and experiencing new people, places and cultures. I go with the flow and always try to stay positive in any situation.

After having been hosted by some amazing CS members I can’t wait to have my own place and be able to return the favor!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A relative recently told me about it when she went abroad and I thought it sounded like an awesome way to meet people as well as being able to see different places from a local point of view which is usually way better than always being a tourist.

I love meeting new people and sharing ideas or learning about different cultures. New and different viewpoints is one of my favorite ways to learn and experience the world.

Interests

I absolutely love being active! I enjoy yoga, though I am still pretty new to it, as well as other physical activities and especially when they are outdoors. Boating and hanging out at the lake is one of my absolute favorite things to do; tubing, wake surfing, and slalom are a few of my most enjoyed water activities. I am also interested in traveling and hoping to do more of it now that I am not in school. I enjoy night life, but also very much appreciate a night in. I studied American Sign Language in school and loved it, I am hoping to utilize it in the future. Rock climbing, especially bouldering, is something that I've recently fallen in love with and would love to experience in all kinds of places. I also like cooking and am no expert by any means but combining the random ingredients I have in my kitchen usually turns out pretty well for me!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music- I like most anything except for country. Mostly I enjoy pop punk bands like a day to remember, brand new, and the story so far. I also enjoy rock music such as Dave Matthews, matchbox 20, and john mellencamp. And of course you can't go wrong with some of the latest and catchy pop or rap songs. Recently EDM is something that I've been listening to more as well.

Movies- I like most anything! Musicals such as rent or moulin rouge, movies loosely based on true events such as blow or eat pray love, and cartoon movies like despicable me or wreck it Ralph always make me happy too. Fight club, super troopers, and anything will smith are a few other good ones.

Books- I LOVE READING. Mostly trilogies about dystopian socieites like the hunger games or divergent series. Also books that are or will be made into movies. Harry Potter, of course, is always a classic series.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Volunteered at Bonnaroo music festival in Tennessee and made tons of amazing friends and memories with people that I had only known for four days or less.

Quit my job, ended my apartment lease and started traveling the world with my best friend (which happens to be the current adventure I'm on!)

Witnessed the northern lights.

Can potentially help practice ASL (depending on level), and teach you about indoor rock climbing!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Helping out with errands, chores, etc. Also I'm no chef but am pretty good at combining whatever is around the house to make a good meal.
