ABOUT ME

I consider myself an easygoing and openminded person who got obsessed by traveling at some point in history. I like to explore strange places and obscure countries, especially in the former Soviet Union and Asia. I'm stuck in Kristiansand for the coming years, but I use every occasion to expand my horizon.

I live in a terraced house close to the city centre, together with my wife and two children. We like meeting new people and will be happy to host anybody in our ample home. If you speak Flemish or Russian, you are especially welcome. If you speak the screwed-up version of Flemish, known as Dutch, you are also more than welcome.

I participate by participating.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted people from Belgium, Poland, the United States, Spain, the Netherlands, Portugal, Russia, Romania, France and Germany.

I have surfed on people's couches in Bulgaria (Burgas), Russia (Murmansk and St. Petersburg), the Netherlands (Rotterdam) and Luxembourg (Luxembourg).

Apart from that, I have attended lots of couch surfing meetings and language cafe during my time in Oslo.

Interests

Travelling, especially by train. Flying is cheating, but I do it all the time. Music, good beer, learning new languages, studying, cycling, trekking and more!
