I am Till from Berlin, after working for some time in Berlin and Manchester I have just moved to Cork in lovely Ireland. I love to laugh and I love to find out anything about laughter and humor. I enjoy serious conversations as well of course.
I am working at the university as a lecturer teaching about Japan. I enjoy teaching very much and I am most happy when my students enjoy the lesson and learn something. But to be honest, I like holidays even better than teaching

Why am I only "maybe" accepting guests right now: I am a bit busy this summer and although I get lots of nice requests I am taking a little bit of a break from hosting all the time. If you have read my profile and think we'd definitely have a great time together don't hesitate to drop me a message though :)

I would love to meet many new friends here and the airbed in my living room is ready for you to sleep on. I don't have any super amazing guest room with princess-bed to offer yet, but I am working on it ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I did a lot of great homestay in Japan, I once stayed at my friends room in Bangkok together with his 5 brothers in one room which was fun, I stayed in the crazy shared apartment in Barcelona which had a party every night so that the Police came ;-) I am not noisy myself though, I promise!

I just love my books, hard to pick any favourites - maybe you could say that I like intelligent books, literature, classics etc. I have started to explore Irish literature and I try to read more books in Japanese.
