This part always gets me to laugh and makes me uncertain about what to put here for you guys. It's like going on your first date and knowing the outcome of the date before even it started -the person is going to fall in love with you and everything will be fine - which takes all the fun of the journey.
One thing i can give away is that I love to laugh, joke around, and my inner child always thinks he is a rap star who is always free-styling. I have an instagram comedy channel.
I have lived in LA for 10 years and have discovered LA inside out; probably one of the best hosts to show you around LA.
There are quit a few hosts who are decent and good people on couchsurfing, but just do your research and read references before sending a request. This may be your only time coming to LA - and you have worked hard and saved a lot to make this trip happen - so do the research to find hosts you know you'll vibe with and will give you the best experience in LA. I'm on couch surfing to make new friends and maintain the traveling adventure. It's actually fun meeting random people, being open-minded and not knowing what could become of it. I could do Airbnb and get paid to meet travelers and have fun at the same time. But i choose couch surfing instead. So, let the friendships and fun begin.
