ABOUT ME

"Vorrei che tu venissi da me in una sera d'inverno e, stretti insieme dietro i vetri, guardando la solitudine delle strade buie e gelate, ricordassimo gli inverni delle favole, dove si visse insieme senza saperlo".

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm sort of an "expert" in Pier Paolo Pasolini's work and I admire every single thing he managed to create.
For the ones interested in titles:
- books: "If on a winter's night a traveler" by Calvino, "Sostiene Pereira", "Requiem" and "Tristano muore" by Tabucchi, short-stories by Borges, Cortazar, Buzzati, Landolfi, Papini, Savinio and many, many other writers, "The Book of Disquiet" by Pessoa, "Madame Bovary" by Flaubert, "Zeno's Conscience" by Svevo, "Anna Karenina" by Tolstoy ETC.
- films: all Pasolini's films, "Vivre sa vie" by Godard, "Last Tango in Paris" and "The Dreamers" by Bertolucci, "La prima notte di quiete" ("Indian Summer") by Zurlini, "Hiroshima, mon amour" by Resnais, "Blow-Up" by Antonioni, "Mulholland Drive" and "Blue Velvet" by Lynch, "Lost in Translation" by Coppola, "8½" by Fellini, "Eyes Wide Shut" by Kubrick, "If..." by Anderson ETC.
- music (for one who studies musicology to name the musicians he likes would take too much time, really): classical music (renassaince, baroque, romanticism), jazz, progressive rock, blues, film music.

But, you know, it's only 1% of what i really like.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being lost in Vilnius was one of the best moments of my life. Seeing Trieste for the first time left me amused till today. Most amazing trips happen also during the reading time but that's another story.. ;)

Teach, Learn, Share

Any language/literature exchange is amazing.
I can teach you many things about Pasolini, I'm a total freak.
