A little shy, but outgoing when get to know people. Kind, honest, adventurous, dreamer, enthusiastic, always in a good mood, respectful.
Curious, open minded, love cooking.
My main hobbies are photography and hiking in the mountains.

PHILOSOPHY

* Backpacking type of traveler, can't stand going on holidays with tour operators, and follow like a sheep. So, I'd rather do it my way at my pace, but still see what needs to be seen.
There are so many bad things going on in the world... I want to believe I'm not part of this, and help people. We are not all bad out-there.
* My favorite quote is "The people who are trying to make this world worse, are not taking any days off ; How could I?" By Bob Marley.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

No experience quite yet, but can't wait to get started.
I've lived in collocations with several other nationalities, and I loved it.
I worked on cruise ships, so don't mind sharing a tiny little room.
So I can make myself discreet or take part to your life style (cooking, cleaning...).

Interests

Photography, I spend most of my spare time practicing, visiting, finding places to take photographs.
Hiking, in the mountains, reading traveler's blogs.
I'm a wine connoisseur, my job is related to this, love wine tasting (and food tasting too, foreign cuisine in particular).

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: True stories... such as 'Into the wild', 'Alive' (Naufrages des Andes;1993).
Movies: True stories "The Intouchables" (Intouchable, French 2011), "Pursuit of Happiness" and great comedies: American Pie, Ice age...; Poetic movies "Micmacs (Micmacs à tire-larigot, French. 2009), Amelie (le fabuleux destin d'Amelie Poulain, French 2001), Angel-A (French, 2005).
Music: Country, classical, soft rock, pop, International, R&B, foreign music (Polish, Russian), everything really, but not to keen on Rap, Trans, techno, electro though.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Meeting loads of presidents from around the world (G.W. Bush, her majesty Elisabeth II, etc ...)
Working on cruise lines, hard core work, but so interesting.
Saw the Great Wall of China, and I must say, that is impressive stuff to see/walk on.

I can teach you how to appreciate and taste wine (in French or in English), take part to a wine tasting.
I can help you learn French.
And help you to take great pictures.
