About Me

20 September 2017 I visited friends in Malaysia. Left there on the 27 September with a Muhammad Asad translation of Al-Qur'an. Started to read it on 4 October, and by 30 October realised I am a Muslem...

I left Merimbula, NSW area as of the End of October traveling Australia again. Drove to Adelaide area for a Doctor appointment for Cataract surgery and needed to return there by 13 Dec for surgery.

Decided to travel to Perth to visit friend before the Surgery and left Perth 3 December heading back to Adelaide area.

In between there, on 7 November after Asr I said the Shahadu at Furqan Masala and became officially a Muslem.

I staed in the Adelaide area for 6 weeks while I wait for final check out from the Eye doctor, leaving the area 24 January bound for Merimbula NSW for a while.

22 May, I returned to Malaysia to avoid the winter and living in a tent again. Been in Malaysia pretty much ever since but for exit times to return to Australia and get supplies and redo my Malaysian Visa.

9 March, flying back to Putrajaya. Future is interesting... with Covid 19 bringing out the fear in almost everyone...my travel planes may get changed.

We, I got married, are hoping to do Umrah Insha Allah that might happen yet. Hoping to get to Oman this year and to the USA and must return to Australia in September for 6 months.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am on Earth this iteration to work with the people. As such I am the healer that doesn't heal....letting the Spirit Doctors (God) work through me. .

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Only five so far in Tennant Creek after meetng a fellow on the highway getting here. Then in Alice Springs. Rockhampton QLD. Then the Dish in Mckay, Robert in Townsville, and Steven in Innisfail. Very good rest for me at the time. I did similar to Couch Surfing in the states many years ago when riding across. Had a place to stay in New Orleans. GREAT.

Interests

Mostly related to peoples awareness of themselves and how they wish to grow, if they want stagnation I leave. It is not possible to force a horse to swim....I like to find horses that want to swim, ha ha ha.

I like to take time to do Meditation, yoga, walking for health, swimming, cycling

  • yoga
  • meditation
  • walking
  • socializing

Music, Movies, and Books

Shantaram, disc world series by Terry Pratchet, the Dune series, the Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, sic fi, faries, trolls, dragons, The Zone Diet. The Way Of The Peaceful Warrior series, anything by Bujold and lots more of childrens books. Why childrens books? No alcohol, no sex, always uplifting, encouraging of the underdog.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Drove a home made bus in the states for 6 years. Including driving to Honduras. Ridden across the States on a bicycle. Toured Australia with a trike and trailer 22 months, 21,000km. Oneness Blessing giver. As a healer I have seen the near dead come back life. And the crippled walk again. Amazing sunsets and sunrises. White water rafting in cat 5 rapids. Birth of many forms of animals....no human as yet.

Some say living out of a 4X4 for 3 years is amazing and 22 months of cycle touring. I think of it as normal

Built a home out of pallets in the NSW mountain area around Pericoe and lived there for the last 2 winters.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a teacher. Mostly about how to open up and live. Rather than hiding in the rut. I am a catalyst presenting change to all those I meet. Either through healing, massage, advice, suggestions etc also, fellow tourists, travelers, people walking life differently.

This too was written 4 years ago and is still truth for today. It is what I have been doing for the last 4 years as I meet people in my travels.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I regret that I cannot host you on a couch. For one thing I don't have a couch. Quite common in Malaysia actually. I have a car and can move you around a bit to see and do some.

I make a great Bullit Proof Coffee with chocolate.

Putrajaya has everything mostly within walking distance of everything else...though most Malaysians do not walk much. I attempt 5-10 k a day.

It is pretty easy to get from KLIA or KLIA2 to my apartment by FAST train and about a 500 meter walk.

Mostly, let me know what you need and I will see if I can help. Salaam
