ABOUT ME
Hey friends!
So a bit about me, well let's see here...
I've just finished up my bachelor's degree in Science of Kinesiology, and I've finally figured out what I want to do with my life! Hello revelation. This fall I'll be pursuing a Master's in Occupational Therapy which I am SO excited about!
Last year, I participated in a study abroad exchange in England, and it was completely amazing :)
I'm a very light-hearted girl who loves to laugh, joke around and be silly. Chances are, I'll try to make you laugh, or at least smile - I have a passion for seeing others happy. I'm very good natured and easy going.
I love listening to people - their feelings, stories, ideas, thoughts, dreams... everything really! I'm a much better listener than talker I would say.
PHILOSOPHY
Recently, I have come to appreciate my name as it really sums up who I am as a person. My name is Letisha (often mispronounced Le teee sha... but 'tish' actually rhymes with 'wish'), which means "great joy"... and great joy is what I have in my heart, and is what I love to share with others!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I Couch Surfed around Europe a little bit (thank you to my wonderful hosts!), and now I'm hoping I can return the awesome experience to people wanting to explore Fredericton!
Interests
Pretty much everything under the sun interests me - meeting new people, having deep conversations, laughing and making others laugh, all kinds of sports, being creative, cooking up some random experiments, photography, trying new things, singing to myself, playing board games, nachos, working with kids, helping other people... you know.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: I don't watch too many movies, but here are a few that I particularly enjoyed: Seven Pounds, The Prestige, Lord of the Rings, Pride and Prejudice, Napolean Dynamite, and any classic Disney movie really.
Books: The Bible, The Irresistible Revolution, the DaVinci Code
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Probably the most blissful day of my life was driving through the Rocky Mountains in Jasper, Canada as the sun was setting and the animals were grazing near still water. So breathtaking.
Paragliding in Switzerland was pretty rocking too :)
