Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
ascend a greenglass parsnip
ABOUT ME
I can elaborate at lengths about the merits of leaving the sound of guitar string scratching in recordings and appreciate how forests are so much greener when set agains rain clouds. I am pretty tall. I like making noise (respectfully).
PHILOSOPHY
take this ochre oyster and keep it close to your salty heart! people should try to be good to each other and not mess things up too much planet-wise and not get really into telling each other the best way to be happy

Music, Movies, and Books
music is my tenderest of passions and i really listen to almost anything and everything, I like blues, jazz, electronic, experimental, post-whatever, classical, rock, punk, metal, hip-hop, folk, and "ethnic" music of all resplendent kinds, and would love if you could show me new stuff to listen to especially if it is alien, noisy, exotic, awkward, immoral or unreasonably difficult to tolerate.
I'm one of those people who's favourite book is Catch-22. you know how it goes. I think Tropic of Capricorn might be second. have read every single Vonnegut novel and survived relatively un-cynical. Micheal Ondaatje's poetry is so beautiful.
have you seen "The Holy Mountain"? it's like, *so* *good*.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
made yoghurt. and travelled around countries and played music and non-specifically existed in a universe that is vast and incomprehensible and lovely.
the yoghurt really stands out, though.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to make music with anyone so inclined. I sing, and play guitar and piano pretty well, and harmonica, violin, bass guitar, theremin, and clarinet pretty poorly. I've got a lot of experience with home recording and music production.
if you happen to have a sailing dinghie lying around I can teach you how to rig and sail it.
I'm pretty good with computers.
if you want to teach me about crafting, or gardening, or survival, or a language I don't know, or anything, really, I'd love to learn.
