I'm Khácho - an Armenian ENFJ-A guy living in Malaga, Spain.

Before moving to Spain, I lived most of my life in Armenia where I was born and grew up. Apart from that I also lived in Italy in 2015-16 for 6 months doing an Erasmus+ EVS in the city of Pesaro which turned out to be a life-changing experience for me... And last but not least I lived for one month in Kyiv, Ukraine in April 2021 while trying somehow to escape the COVID-caused lockdown boredom.

I am a Software Engineer with additional background in Social Youth Work, Photography, and Computer Graphics, and I got a PhD in Engineering/Telecommunications.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since 2014 I started travelling a lot, mainly in Europe and I discovered this excellent platform that gives the opportunity to meet, host and be hosted by local people. This way you can share kindness, culture and fun which is harder to get while travelling in a more classical touristic model.

With all my respect for the museums and tourist sightseeing places, to me, culture is strongly connected to the people who live there.

And I think CS is about going out of the comfort zone and expanding it accordingly.

Interests

I am into travelling, techno music, spirituality, meditation, psychology, board games, foreign languages etc.

As said before I am a foreign languages learner geek(maybe also a nerd) and am a long-time user of Duolingo, so would love to practice up to 7 languages with you.

I'm also a big fan of "Kurzgesagt - In a Nutshell" a famous Youtube Channel producing amazingly made animation videos on a variety of topics such as science, space, health, society, environment and so on.

Lately, I'm a lot into Immunology(inspired by Kurzgesagt) so it's a weird but interesting hobby for me. I will be happy to share my knowledge on that with curious people :)

- did 48 meters high 290-meter long zipline in Bornholm Denmark;
- did a cross-country bike trip from Armenia to Georgia;
- learned 7 languages(2000+ day streak on Duolingo xD);
- expressed my love on a crane from the other side of the window(3rd floor)
