One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I adopted a homeless child in 2010, and taught him knowledge and skills to earn money by him own, not from begging. This story had been reported by mass media in China mainland. And with my systematical teaching, he got his job in EF, a famous English tutoring company, as a sales. After my patiently guiding him, he got skills of correct pronunciation of 26 alphabet, fast keyboard typing, basic English speaking, using photoshop to retouch photos and mastering use of word, excel and powerpoint to operate basic office daily work. Later on, i used my experience to help another 3 homeless guys, all of them find suitable and satisfying careers in society. They felt they were no longer get isolation from society, i think my strong need of acceptance from society as gay transformed into the way i help those more isolated people to find themselves.
