ABOUT ME

I currently live in a small town in Iowa. I often say that I 'live near Chicago' but really to get to the city (any city) you have to drive hours and hours through corn fields. Corn field isolation aside my hometown is a progressive, sustainable, spiritual community that makes for an excellent home base.

When I am not hidden in a corn field I like to travel often. When I get somewhere I like to take it slow, walking through cities, volunteering on farms and of course eating all the good food I can.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I started using couch surfing a few years ago with a few successful surfs. Now that I officially have a place to host people it's time to start up again.

I like to WWOOF (Willing Workers on Organic Farms), I also like food (growing, making and eating.) I am interested in sustainable communities and what goes into making them. Also always up for some good music and a good bike ride.
