COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed with a family in Horb, Germany that were great! I would love to go back.
Visited Rome summer 2010 and stayed with an awesome couch surfer
Spent a week in central mexico sharing a bed
Hosted 2 friends completing a cross continent motorcycle expedition/
Hosted 2 friends from Austria visiting the USA before starting "the real world"/
Hosted a couple from Paris... Had an awesome night building a beach bonfire!/
Becky hosted a mom and daughter in town for a festival... despite the horrible weather!/
Hosted and partied all weekend with an Aussie/
Hosted a ph.d student taking advantage of a convention nearby/
Hosted a Canadian riding her bike down to Panama (hope you made it!)/
Hosted an Argentinian paying respects to his favorite singer (Selena)

Interests

I absolutely love working out. It helps me relieve stress and allows me to eat what I want! Generally being outdoors makes me happy. Of course traveling and getting to know other cultures gives me great satisfaction. I would consider my wife and I more open minded than most Americans, but at the same time, we both grew up in the great state of Texas!

Saw a black bear in Alaska,
Hiked Machu Picchu in the pouring rain,
Reconnected with numerous friends I met (norway, australia, france),
Saw the midnight sun in Alaska

What I Can Share with Hosts

Can offer numerous activities in Corpus. We are with the "in" for the city and can recommend events for the visit. Summer is obviously the best time to visit a beach town, but generally the weather is tolerable year round!
