About Me
Just finished my Academic studies (for now, maybe?). I studied Physics at Undergraduate level and did a masters in Mathematics afterward. My next step was to get into a Theoretical Physics PhD but I decided to live a little before that!!
I'm Portuguese (hell yeh!!) and I lived in Estoril (near Lisbon) until I was 17. Moved to Illinois, USA for one year and then moved back to the UK for my University. Just moved now to Amsterdam and am looking to start my career in tech. Where will I go next? No clue, but I've always had a calling for Australia!
I'm super chilled and laid back. I have a very high stress-threshold. Maybe this is why I thought that Amsterdam was a better fit for me than London. I love talking with people about anything really. I prefer going deep into one specific topic, taking the gloves off that really digging into it with no fear of anyone getting offended. But if you want to just grab a beer and talk about Trump's haircut, I'm down!
I love traveling and meeting new people from different background and with different world views. In 2013 I went backpacking with a friend around Europe. We visited 15 countries and countless people, and it was one of the greatest experiences I've had.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Pretty proud of visiting 15 countries in 30 days! But also stayed 9 days without a bed or shower... not so proud of that
