About Me

i'm currently a ACAD designer, for those who don't know what that means, i draw the projects so workers can build houses, in my case hospitals and malls mostly. I'm all about new experiences. I have great interest in almost every form of art.. music, painting, writing, photography, cinema, and more recently even dancing... the only one i really don't care much about is fashion.. I played volleyball for a couple of years, witch gave me the opportunity of getting to know new places and people, what a great experience! but now i decided to settle down, going back to study and get a "real" job, witch actually sucks when compared to the freedom and traveling i used to have..

PHILOSOPHY

"sometimes.. change is good" .. this is actually a quote from "The Lion King"

Music, Movies, and Books

Try to read this "diagonaly" .. seriously, don't pay too much atention.. This list is endless.. Movies, Music and Books?? Camooon..there are so many! but so.. just a few then

Every Tarantino and some of R.Rodriguez.. Some Fellini and Hitchcock. Kusturica, Kubrick, Although I didn't like very much of the directing of "Vicci Cristina Barcelona" i liked the movie.. but who am I to reprove Woody Allen? ..Recently i really liked watching "Extract".. it really surprised me! "Deception" was entertaining too.

Music: I listen to everything, from Beethoven to Punk Rock.. Metal/hard metal/trash/grunge are in the very bottom of my taste..can't seem to like those headbangers music, but sometimes you find sweet solos there!

Arctic Monkeys, alice in chains, astor piazzola, billy tallent, carlos paredes, chet faker, flume, incubus, muse, portugal the man, qotsa, rage (not the german band with the freaking amazing viktor smolsky), box car racer, a looot of Classic Rock (deep purple, Zeppelin,Pink Floyd, Eagles, The Who, Supertramp is ok, The Doors are weird, and i like weird, Eric Clapton, the guy's story makes the music even more interesting, queen, all guitar explorers, van halen, petrucci not so much but he's good, paulo gilberto, guthrie goven, hendrix, jason becker, van halen, etc), recently fell into the likes of bossa nova and my favourite band at the moment is The Aristocrats, not recommended for the easy listener though...

i like reggae and i hate reggaeton

Now the books: i'll keep it short
really like comics: Bilal and Moebius are some of my favourites.. Manga and Marvel also starr the list.
I really liked "accidental millionaire" by Lee Butcher.
a lot of inteletual shit they thankfully made me read in university: plato, kafka, nietzsche, descartes, benjamin, adorno and other ff school stuff, ayn rand, goethe, miller and so on..
Right now i'm reading "the fountainhead" by ayn rand.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've done a few for sure.. recently i can only recall this one time i fed multi-coloured fish in the clear and tropical waters of the caribbean while diving in the reef beaches of the desert island of isla de santa catalina! and even more recently I've seen glowing plancton at night on a beach in south Portugal. everytime i'd touch the water it would glow green, like fireworks, but wet ,) i'm still not sure if it was magic ,p
