ABOUT ME
I live with my Boy Friend (yep we're a gay couple) in a house on the edge of DC, actually in Maryland side of the line. Walking distance to two metro stations. I work for the government and have moved around quite a bit and haven't really gone out a whole lot in DC. I can help with the general touristy stuff but I'm no expert on the night life.
I'm a bit reserved but interested in making new friends from other parts of the world.
PHILOSOPHY
Ehh whatever.. move on, get over it and keep breathing. It all gets better from here.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We've hosted various people but haven't surfed anyone's couch yet. If you stay with us we will be happy to make suggestions and help you out as much as possible. After going to the museums quite a lot we may not really want to join you on the main touristy stuff but if we're not working we will be happy to give you a quick tour/drive around the city, hang out an have dinner either out or cook in, go to a club/bar if it's the weekend and we're free, or whatever else sounds like fun at the time.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We've hosted various people/groups from all over and they've all been great people.
Interests
Reading, travel when time permits, working on the house etc etc.. love to try new types of food, drink, etc. More a casual laid back person. I like a nice wine bar or cafe with people that are interesting more than anything.

Music, Movies, and Books
Little bit of everything from Brazilian Jazz, Spanish Pop, English pop to reggetone and club music. Depends on my mood.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Watched lava flow from a volcano, got mugged twice in the same night and walked away only losing change, jumped out of a plane... hhmm I'm sure there are others.
Teach, Learn, Share
Ummm well, I can cook various types of food, know how to ride a horse (I grew up in the country with animals not that it'll help you here) and am learning by trial and error how to remodel my house!
Countries I’ve Visited
Argentina, Austria, Costa Rica, Estonia, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, Mexico, Morocco, Nicaragua, Poland, Slovakia, Spain, United Kingdom
