About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Learning more about the world and the people in it. Looking for and sharing inspiration wherever I go.

ABOUT ME

I'm a journalist, writer and editor, constantly looking to redefine my life in times of change. I love Latin America, travel and the beautiful planet we inhabit, and want to dedicate the last half of my life to its preservation, in all its amazing human and non-human diversity.

PHILOSOPHY

It's all about the journey.... we are here to learn and experience as much as possible, and hopefully to give joy and understanding along the way. I hope I can make a difference with my life and push things along in the direction of a more sustainable, human-oriented paradigm.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently not accepting guests as I am traveling - but planning to do so when I return.

In 2010 I created a bilingual, multimedia web portal, www.TheEsperanzaProject.org, to profile innovative environmental initiatives and volunteer and ecotourism opportunities. I joined CouchSurfing to support that project will be looking for ways for our goals to complement each other. I think there will be many.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have stayed with wonderful couch surfing hosts in Guatemala City, El Salvador, Puerto Vallarta, France and Portugal. I have hosted people from all over the world and look forward to continuing to do so.
