About Me
A space has opened up to host you this November '15 so get in your requests :)
I'm respectful and enjoy reading, writing, learning, exploring, biking, gardening/landscaping, the environment and the company of others.
I'm a balance of introspective and sociable so I'm good at entertaining myself but I also like having fun and talking with others! I like to help others- hence the job in nursing-but it's a toss up whether I love animals, people or nature most!
I'm relatively tidy and clean and I definitely clean up after myself.
I cook healthy vegetarian food but not always well!
I don't snore and can sleep anywhere except in a shared bed with someone (unless they're female, then I would consider it -safety first aye!)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I enjoying learning about and from other people, and I love staying with people as I learn first-hand what it's like in their culture and country. It's also a cheap way to see more of the world and get some inside tips on where to go and what to do! I can't wait until I get back to NZ and get to host travellers for myself!
Interests
Reading about the environment/sustainable living, animal and human rights, peace work, permaculture, gardening and general landscaping, learning, exercise, exploring, reeeeally love nature, quiet life but degrees of sociability everyday!

Music, Movies, and Books
Intersteller-great movie, Permaculture magazine, The Alchemist, The Northern Lights, Peacework, I can't think if any other one's right now, but anything inspirational and/or environmental! Barefoot Beekeeping, Living the Biosphere, Organic NZ magazine, Lifestyle Block magazine
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Exploring Lauterbrunnen in Switzerland and going up Jungfrau mountain on the train-it was just so so beautiful it was unreal!
Wwoffing on the Isle of Mull in Scotland-I stayed in such a beautiful place, made a second family with my hosts and soaked up their knowledge and lifestyle. And just Scotland in general is stunning.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach other's about nutrition and exercise and how to travel the world on a budget! I completed a permaculture design course this year so i could teach you some principles in this way of living - organic gardening, living self-sufficiently (as possible)! I can teach you all about life in NZ and travelling, nursing, yoga, enviro stuff and everything else in my list of interests :-)
I'd love to learn more about gardening and wood work and beekeeping as i am only novice as all of these, and about your culture in general :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share stories about my travel, offer health, nutrition and exercise advice (!!), yoga lessons, company of someone who's easy-going and respectful, my bike can be used when I'm not using it and there are a few on the property that could be borrowed too. We could do some gardening together - I'm always happy for a hand if you have any ideas!
