ABOUT ME

I thrive on being creative... creating music, art, friendships, excitement, love. My passion right now is in songwriting. I have been intensely writing new music over the past year and taking my songs out to many different open mics in the San Francisco bay area, as well as a small gig here & there. I'm working towards bigger performances. Music is such a wonderful thing!

I also have a wonderful family: wife & 3 kids. One is already through college and the other two here at the house in high school and junior high. They're all very creative kids.

I love to hike & surf a lot. I write poetry. I love strawberries. Yerba mate is awesome. My dog is a very wise old man. I love all kinds of weather, but absolutely love hiking in the fog next to the Pacific ocean.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in openness and understanding, dialogue and fascination. I believe in taking risks to grow. I believe thought directs energy, energy directs form. Vision sets the path but wandering is great, too. I believe in wonder above all things. Passion and love is all that's worth living for.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am just beginning here. A really good friend of mine has had a number of travelers stay at her place over the past year and I love the idea of it. My current place is a little tight but open to travelers. I want to start out with a short solo trip up the northern California coast and meet new folks. I think the CS Project is great!
