I just joined but I'd love to start by being a surfer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My couchsurfing experiences so far are with friends I've met in my travels and have gone to visit. It's great to go see where people have grown up!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are really a lot, a lot. Here are some:

Playing with lion cubs in New Zealand (unlikely, but it happened!)
Enjoying hot springs in Taiwan
Karaoke-ing until 5am in Seoul
Kayaking amongst sea lions in San Juan Islands
Helping women install irrigation in a village in India
Any hike that ends with a hot meal and/or a beer

Teach, Learn, Share

As someone who's traveled around and lived in quite a few places, the people who have shared their cultures with me and taken me around have made great impact. I love to do the same with the people who've visited me. I like how couchsurfing takes it to the next level by connecting like-minded folks together!
