ABOUT ME

I'm a 24 year old queer transman in Ohio. I live with my parents for the moment until I can find a steady job. I graduated from college and now am looking for work. I have a passion for the queer community, and a passion for helping others. My boyfriend is a drag queen, so if you want to go to drag shows in town, I know the best places to go! I love creating photographs, and I enjoy all art forms. I'm pretty laid-back, and optimistic, and I enjoy being around people. I have a cat, and he has surpassed the status as a pet and I consider him my son (it's less creepy than it sounds, I promise). I'm just a cool, fun person who occasionally travels and wants to be friends with anyone he meets.

I've been couchsurfing and I would love to host anyone who would like to visit Cleveland. :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I went to Chicago during a spring break of mine, and I stayed with a wonderful host and her roommates. She showed us around town, and was great about us staying with her!!

When I was in Washington DC for a weekend-long protest, I was hosted by a couple of really awesome people.

Also, in NYC for a conference, a woman took a few of my friends and I into her apartment and let us sleep there. She made us chocolate tea, and was a wonderful person.

I've been to Chicago with my roommate, and we surfed with someone we met through CS! She was an amazing hostess, and we had a blast!

Interests

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to read anything by Terry Pratchett or anything that will make me think differently than I do now.

If I can dance to the music, I'll like it.

As for movies, I'll watch basically anything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was in Rome, Italy when Pope John Paul II died. I got to see and take pictures of thousands upon thousands of people from all over the world get together around one man. It was truly amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I knit, crochet, take pictures, can be content doing nothing or doing many things.

I want to learn Arabic again. I took it for a semester, but now I don't remember much of it...
