About Me

I prefer getting into the atmosphere of a place or spending some time in a beautiful park rather than visiting museums or galleries. And I hate planning in advance, so please don't send me any request more than a week or two before your arrival. And you'll get the best chance of getting the request accepted if you ask just a couple of days before you come :)

I think that the most important thing in life is - do not demand anything - the best things happen unexpected. And things never go wrong. Sometimes you just need time to understand why this way is better than any other.

About a year ago I became really interested in healthy lifestyle. I'm also a vegetarian for a short period of time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Before I thought that getting to know different cultures can be achieved only by traveling. And always regretted I didn't have more time for doing this. Thanks to couchsurfing I can meet new people from different places while staying at home, which is just awesome. So when I have time to travel I surf, when I can't travel I host and I enjoy both so much!

Interests

What I really love is dancing. I'm not a professional, I just like spending my time doing it (or learning). So if you say party - I hear dancing. Lately, I try to spend most of my free time attending dance classes (argentinian tango & salsa) and going to milongas, which are parties where you dance tango (there's one almost every day in Kraków!).

The sports I like the most are running, kayaking, swimming, hiking, climbing and sailing (the last two I've done only a few times in my life, but I really enjoyed it).

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Tarantino, Woody Allen, Almodovar, Kusturica and Tim Burton. Also Czech and Spanish movies in general. But I'm not much into movies lately.

Music: mainly songs from 70's/80's, rock'n'roll, rock and many many others. I like The Knife, Bob Marley, Mano Negra, The Lumineers, Mumfords & Sons, Zaz, Norah Jones.
Generally I like positive music and all kinds of songs that come straight from the heart of a musician.

Lately I like to read books about personal development, all kinds of them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went with my friend to Paris without having a place to sleep. All our accommodation plans failed, so we were sitting under the Eiffel's tower thinking what to do. Then we've heard some Polish people speaking. We decided to talk to them, since it is not very often to meet people from your home country abroad. After a half an hour discussion they offered to host us. Next few days were just pure magic happening.

I also like to dance sometimes, no matter where I'm at the moment and how many people are surrounding.

Teach, Learn, Share

Sharing experiences and cultural exchange are definitely the most important things when traveling. During one trip you can learn more than while sitting alone at home for years. So I'm not using CS to see the world, but to learn the world.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can teach you some basic tango or salsa steps or cook something for you. I can also tell you sth about my way of living healthy.
