About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To learn and teach and see as much as I can

ABOUT ME

I love the outdoors, camping and running. Also museums and musicals. It is not unheard of for me to run a half marathon and go to a concert the next day (sometimes the same day, but that is pushing it and I tend to fall asleep).

Although currently, all running is off since I am still recovering from a sprained ankle from many months ago.

PHILOSOPHY

Generally people are good, but get led astray from that by fast talking politicians.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have met people who are having a great time with Couch surfing.

Now that I have my passport, I am looking to do some surfing myself instead of just hosting in sunny San Diego!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed in LA and Malibu.
(Co-)Hosted Jag from Canada.
(Co-)Hosted Farrha Birmingham.

Interests

The outdoors in general: hiking, trail running, wildlife, photography.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking Angel's Landing in Zion National Park is pretty cool. If it were not for the chains it would be terrifying.

33.8mi (55k)race just outside Yosemite on an already sprained ankle. It was beautiful. Also, probably not the smartest thing I have ever done.

Teach, Learn, Share

Once upon a time, I made jewelery and was pretty good at teaching others how to do the same.

If you were interested, I can always show you where the good bead stores are.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Mexico, United Kingdom, United States
