ABOUT ME
years of traveling, I have finally found a bit of a 'home'base in Oakland, CA. but I still get out and about when friends and forests call upon me.
PHILOSOPHY
i want us all to let go of insecurities and find family in each other. there's nothing we can't take head on with the power of family and love driving us.
it's important to remind each other of the awesomeness of the world when we forget, and always look for ways to dwell in inspiration.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have lived in houses that have hosted people since before couch surfing was a digital art. let's trust each other.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
because I have lived in collective houses, we get travelers staying with us continually and love it. i always benefit from seeing what makes other people light up. so many different people and none of them were disrespectful and all of them taught me something. as for my surfing i have also had awesome experiences, most all of them without the use of the website. i did have one bad experience with a strange guy in san diego...i don't even know what to say, but i did learn from him too, in a strange way...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
this first time I hitched hiked I found myself rollin high in the cab of an 18 wheeler through the mountains of oregon. bein' my first time hitch-hiking,i guess i was pretty fortunate. it was definitely one of those moments when things couldn't have really been better. rollin through the mountains, playing guitar and thinkin about life on our way to a reverend peyton's big damn band show in eugene. miguel the truck driver was really chill and showed my pictures of his super adorable family and a butterfly he saw in missippi.
Teach, Learn, Share
i love to cook for folks. i can teach you some cowboy tunes on guitar and to sing and how to do trailwork. i like to sew but i'm no pro. i love drawin with people, teaching people how to let go of what's "supposed" to be on paper; we could play some awesome drawing games....
