One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have experienced below zero temperatures in the caribbean while camping in the mountains, which is astounding and great.

I have gazed at the billions and billions of stars while camping on the coast of Bahia de las Aguilas.

I have been through the mines of Guanajuato in Mexico.

I have lived the intense energy of New York.

I have experienced and absorbed the humidity and human warmth of Virginia.

I have walked Washington, D.C. in a day.

I have seen the material poverty of Haiti. I have also seen the richness of their people, the amazingness of their culture.

I have seen the struggles of my nation and how we overcome them.

I have yet to see the Aurora Borealis.
