ABOUT ME

I love to learn new things every day and I enjoy to listen to people, their stories, especially elder persons with a lot of life experience. I try to learn from everything I hear and see and experience every day.
So I love traveling (obviously), see different places, get to know another culture, interesting people and learn a new language! Before or while traveling in a country, I always try to learn some sentences in the native language - cause I want to talk to the people, I want to understand them, to get to know them. And - in my opinion - it`s also a sign of respect and interest.

I was hosted all over the world by now and i can't stop surfing! It makes you adiccted :)
I would love to host more people, but somehow nobody wants to visit my lovley village.....

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Only great experiences, in Russia, all over Europe, Asia and actually everywhere I go :)
Some of the best stories to tell happened on CS.
I was hosted by so many different hosts, young, old, poor, rich, living in big towns or at the countryside, and always I met interesting people and learned something new.

Interessen

Does it sound silly when I say I like to learn??! Not in a school like way, but in every day live, gaining new little skills, taking small steps in becoming an old wise granny :)
I just love to dance, for myself on the bed, a choreography on stage, in the club, in the street, in the bush or with my pois (though I have to get better at that....)

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Books: Paulo Cohelo (Veronika decides to die, the Alchemist...), The Little Prince, Shantaram, The Dark Tower.... too much :)

Movies: Harold and Maude, Death Proof, Amelie, movies from Hayao Miyazaki!

Music: I really love to listen to music, but I don`t have a favorite kind of music. It depends on my mood and the situation...

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I am living my draem right now and traveling with from one place to the next, seeing amazing places, meeting wonderful people, learning new things every day!

Did a trip over land from Germany to India, experienced amazing hospitality in Iran, hitchhiking on top of trucks in Sri Lanka, did a 7 day camel trip trough the Thar Desert, walked along the Great Wall, swam with huuuuge turtles, took the Transsiberian, went for a swim in the cold Lake Baikal, climbed an active volcano of 3762 meters, drove 6 weeks though Vietnam on a scrappy motorbike, hiked a part of the E3 for 700km, hitchhiked from the North of Japan to the South in 2 1/2 months, made friends, learned, shared, grew.......Still going.....
