About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live my dreams, enjoy freedom, people and nature.

ABOUT ME

After two and a half years working at international advertising agencies as creative copywriter (Buenos Aires, Argentina), I somehow agreed with myself that spending my life in no-window boxes sucks big time. I quit my job and bought a ticket to New Zealand, where a year adventure would kick off.

Call me stubborn, but eight years later I still think that spending my life in no-window boxes sucks. So I keep traveling. I´ve travelled Asia, America, South America, Europe, Oceania and Africa. By plane, car, bus, truck, camel, bike, motorbike, canoe, hitchhiking and walking. I have laughed and I have cried. I have jumped, swam, got lost, missed planes, hugged, enjoyed, sailed storms, missed people, smelled, learnt. I have gone back to Argentina without telling anybody, jumped into a Scooby Doo costume and followed my close friends around the city touching their butts. I was immune. "You cannot punch a Scooby Doo, you never know who is inside", they said later.

I have basically felt in love; with people, with nature, with animals, with traveling. With life.

PHILOSOPHY

Enjoy life as if it was only one.

Music, Movies, and Books

One of the many objectives in my life is to be a BAD MOTHERFUCKER in one of Tarantino´s movies.

Pulp Fiction, Into the Wild, Big Fish, La Dolce Vita, Death at a funeral...
Flash, Charles Duchaussois.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Been part of a humanitarian project in South Sudanese war.

- After 15 months travelling around the world, I went back to Buenos Aires but told none of my best friends about that. So I got into a Scooby Doo custom and follow them around the city during one day, touching their asses, hugging them, etc. Two of their coussins helped me with this crazy thing! I will never forget their faces when at the end of the day they finally thought about taking Scooby´s head out!

- I reached the "Top 25 finalists" stage (out of 600.000 entries) in "The Best Job in the World 2013" competition with a video I shot (especially for the contest) while travelling the Nepali Himalaya.

- Discovered my critical condition of "Adventurer Fever" and shot this short movie about it: http://viajoscopio.com/2013/11/29/adventurer-fever-mi-video-gano-el-concurso-de-travel-filmmakers-de-worldnomads-com-me-voy-a-filmar-a-new-orleans/

- Won the "World Nomads Travel Film Scholarship 2013" with my "Adventurer Fever" video.

- Travelled 5 continents since December 2010 and keep going.
