I love good conversation and debate, especially when it comes to talk about our personal philosophies and connection to the world around us.. being out in nature has connected me to people, places, and parts of myself that I didn't know before :) Not religious, am spiritual

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I've had the gift and experience of meeting so many people during my solo travels, especially my first international trip. Couchsurfing has allowed me to connect with with more locals and people in general.

I look forward to getting into the local scene and meeting other travelers during my travels. I have been humbled by the people I've met through Couchsurfing and hope to do the same for others!

My first time truly traveling was when I first traveled to Los Angeles from Orange County at age 18. (Yes, that's not that far but I never had the means to travel before that age.) My first time witnessing a different state of mind in the city got me hooked. From there, I took my first flight to New York and shortly learned urban life wasn't for me. However, I have learned and have been learning the means of travel, how to unanimously have plans yet to stay flexible, and the beauty of meeting people from all over the world. I've learned there are so many personalities we've yet to meet, yet we are all connected in some way. This flow of energy is alive through us, and it's important to recognize that unison instead of trying to stay divided. The city, the natural landscape, and the innovation of technology can all be for the better if we use it right.

I LOVE backpacking because it challenges me physically and mentally.

I enjoy getting recommendations of books from others and visiting local libraries/bookstores wherever I travel.

I love attending concerts and discovering music. I (try to) play the guitar and sing, even though I'm bad. Hey, we don't have to be good at doing the things we enjoy, right?

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I just moved to CO from CA solo after living in the same place all my life. To me, it meant leaving a familiar place for quite some time, along with my friends and family in order to chase what I feel like is a better state of mind. It has been so far.
