About Me

I am from Ha Noi, Viet Nam and spent most of my childhood there. My family also lived in Czech Republic for 4 years, during my elementary school years. In 2007, I went to the US for college, studying at Bucknell University, a small school in Lewisburg, PA. I did my BS, BA and MS there and I just moved to Seattle for a PhD program at the University of Washington. I am loving my life here -- Seattle is awesome!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined this page because I love traveling and meeting new people!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I joined summer 2013, when I was in Germany for a research project. I ended up not couchsurfing (technically) since I realized I had a few friends in Europe that could host me!

Now that I'm back in the US, in a new city where couchsurfing/hosting is more probable. So I'll try to host when I can. So far I've hosted once, and got to meet a fellow travel-lover. Couchsurfing is definitely a great way to meet and learn from interesting people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Visited Corcovado and the Sugarloaf Mountain in Brazil. What an incredible view! I've hiked a small part of Mount Rainier in Seattle last summer, which was amazing as well.

I'm always looking for more amazing things to be done and seen!

I can teach you Vietnamese if you're interested. Also, I know how to solve a Rubik's cube!
