ABOUT ME

My name's Saman Khoujinian, but I mostly go by Sam. I'm a student at UNC Chapel Hill and a musician. I've been playing music for about 12 years now, all kinds of instruments have passed through my hands, and I can't wait to learn even more. I'm very excited about life, and I want to explore every possibility. I crave outlandish adventures and finding new people/places. I currently speak 3 languages, English, Spanish, and Farsi, and I'm on my way to learning a fourth, French.

PHILOSOPHY

I tend to be very excited about the concept of existence itself. Every moment presents some sort of beauty that I like to immerse myself in fully. I've also noticed that simply exuding that sort of mindset helps others feel it as well

If anyone needs a couch while I'm at school in North Carolina, let me know! I'm fairly new to this website, but I'd like to do as much as I can or the community. It seems very friendly, and it's an excellent idea!

So many movies/books/bands/artists/etc. are amazing. I'm currently very into Andrew Bird, The Dirty Projectors, and Son House.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent some time farming in Hawai'i, on the island of Kaua'i. The experience was unlike anything I'd ever seen or done before. It absolutely changed my mindset about existence.

I can teach you how to play many instruments, some languages, or just ask me about anything and if I've got some knowledge about it I'll try my best to impart it.
