ABOUT ME

Something I'd like you to know about me is that I am not a type of a person who likes big companies, parties, hang outs. Something that I really cherish is rather a small honest talk in home atmosphere, a conversation about life values, aims and self-expression - all that shared over a tasty desert that I cook, because I've become lately keen on cooking. :)

PHILOSOPHY

We should learn to be conscious and aware about the moment, every single moment we are living through like a breath, a movement of our body, a word or a thought that appears in our mind. That's the philosophy of the moment. We should learn to be present.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I don't promise to show you all the wonders of my city (just because I'm not quite familiar with it yet), but it'll be my pleasure to take you for a short stroll around the downtown - just to show my favorites.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I find the idea of couchsurfing really amazing, although I've not been involved in the community and its activities that much. I visited a few places and stayed with nice people through the CS and received a few guests too. It's been a very enjoyable and interesting experience for me. With some of the people from CS I'm still in touch.

Interests

Everything that concerns ancient civilizations (anthropology, culture, spiritual and self development), pyramids, alchemy, gnosis, cooking.

Music, Movies, and Books

Some of my classical favourites are Canon by J. Pachelbel and violin and cello concerts by Vivaldi.

Living for about a year in Mexico.

Teach, Learn, Share

Last years of my life I've devoted to studying psychology and anthropology of ancient civilizations. 2011-2012 I spent in Mexico studying about esoteric teachings of ancient Mayans and Aztecs. That touches upon the laws of the Universe, human nature and abilities, philosophy and art. So I believe that is something you can learn from me - and it'll certainly be my pleasure to teach you - is that kind of things. It's my big personal interest and represents a big part of who I am.

Also, I can teach you how to bake unleavened bread and many other things.

In addition I can teach you to speak, read and write some Russian because I teach it on professional basis.
