CURRENT MISSION

My mission at this moment in my life is to pay off my student loans and then figure out what I want to do after that. Along the way to achieving that I plan to have fun, spread happiness, and make sure I leave this earth with lots of scars and stories.

ABOUT ME

I'm very active sometimes and really lazy other times. I'm always ready to make a joke and sarcasm is a high commodity over in these parts. I'm addicted to coke zero and thai food. If I didn't have a cleaning lady coming once a week I would be living in filth...but she does come so I'm happily in a clean environment at all times.

I still talk to my high school friends a lot...as well as my college friends.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to realize that everybody I pass on the street has a story and they are dealing with something in their lives and it is probably more difficult than mine. I'm not a religious person but I do like the Buddhist philosophies.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was very into hosting a couple of years ago in Macau and stopped for reasons unrelated to CS. Now I'm living in Hong Kong and want to start meeting people again. Because of my job I won't be doing any surfing myself for a bit but I'm going to try to make the best of being a host while I can. In my life I've had tons of people help me out and give me a hand to keep life easier and I understand how incredibly nice that can be to have one less worry in a stressful environment so I just want to return the favor to people.

Oh, and if you are wanting to surf my couch please send it in a request form, otherwise the email gets lost and I have to rely on my horrible memory.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, nothing but good experiences. I've finally met some Macau CSers and they are great! I'm really glad I decided to join here and do this.

Interessen

Running (trails mostly), guitar, rock climbing (novice), movies, puzzles, drinking with friends, going out dancing if I am a bit tipsy...otherwise it is hard to get me out there. Golfing, swimming, pretty much anything as long as the company is good.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Almost all music sans deep twangy country. I'll watch any movie but movies like Caddyshack, Airplane!, and Shawshank Redemption are some at the top of my list.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

Well, I'm a pilot and I used to instruct so I guess that's something. I know a little guitar. I'm ok with computers. I've learned a new way to run which turned my broken body into a distance runner in a year.

I would love to learn more languages and more guitar if anybody out there wants to share their knowledge and songs with me.
