I enjoy traveling the globe and immersing myself in new cultural experiences. My husband and I started traveling March 2018. I spend 40 out of the first 45 years of my life in San Diego, California. I'm a first generation Vietnamese-American. My family and I worked hard to achieve the American dream.

My husband and I have evolved into minimalist. We sold 95% of our worldly posessions. Now we are fortunate enough to travel the world. When we travel, we enjoy the great outdoors on foot. We love to run and walk everywhere which allows us to see things up close. We use public transit whenever possible. We travel slowly and use buses and trains. We rarely rent a car.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My husband and I enjoy meeting new people when we travel. We met some couch surfers recently, while in Porto, Portugal, and thought it would be a way for us to share our experiences and love for the international community.

Music, Movies, and Books

We love all kinds of music. Recently we've been watching mostly Netflix. And books...well who doesn't like a good historical fiction or novel. I recently read The Tenth Island because we were heading to The Azores, Portugal.

Teach, Learn, Share

My husband is a retired corporate accountant and I'm (in denial retired) a healthcare management consultant. What that means is between the two of us, we can help analyze your business to find ways for you to be more profitable. A majority of my consulting work included marketing practices. I could teach you ways to communicate, create marketing messages and perspectives to help improve your business. I also did a lot of tutoring in math, English, and Science in college (20 years ago) and that could resurface to help a struggling college student or someone wanting to excel in high school.

We enjoy learning history of the area we are traveling in, language and ways we can alter our behavior to reduce our footprint.

I can share outdoor activities that allow you to incorporate a more active lifestyle. My husband enjoy running and being active. This is a great way to share in the spirit of good health and well being.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I enjoy cooking and baking. Great conversations are made over a nice home cooked meal and glass of wine.
