About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to follow my dreams big and small. "Man's reach exceeds his imagination." -Tesela

ABOUT ME

I'm from the beautiful east coast of Maryland. I lived in Chicago for 5 years and traded my life as I knew it for life on the road. I've gotten cozy in a few places like Taganga, Colombia; and surprisingly, New York City. But in the end I'm a true blue gypsy.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, CRAZY LOVE.
I am interested in discovering my own Truth.
I believe there is a common thread that binds everyone and everything in this universe together. Whether that thread be called God or pure energy or life does not matter all that much. A rose by any other name smells as sweet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Love it! it's great to be open and meet new folks. I've only had wonderful experiences.

Interests

Yoga and meditation have a central place in my life. I love traveling anywhere the wind blows and reading classical literature along the way. I love learning about different cultures and religions.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a crush on Henry David Throeau (so what if he's dead). Reading Walden was a turning point for my life. The Way of All Flesh by Samuel Buttler is another inspirational novel that has shaped me.
The last movie i saw that hit the "Reset" switch was The Fountain.
Can't claim any one group of music as my own. I'm a little scatter shot in this area. I love to dance, Salsa or Jungle it makes no difference to me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I gave up my normal life and started dancing to the beat of my own drum. Since I started traveling several years ago, I have seen beautiful landscapes that shocked and awed me, but nothing amazes me more the human spirit: People loving unabashedly, living liberally, giving generously light my soul on fire.

Teach, Learn, Share

all i can say is follow your "crazy" be unique, individual, leave other's shaking their head, your story is your own. Normal is over rated.
