ABOUT US

JOE: Professional in responsible adventure travel. Founded Meaningful Trip tour company where each tour also helps issues of women's empowerment, health, education and trafficking issues. Blessed to have explored 85 countries. Multi-month travels each year often involving volunteer work/ humanitarian projects (Africa, Asia, Bolivia, Colombia, India, Nepal). I just returned this week from a month in Lebanon volunteering w Syrian refugees). In Seattle, I do lots of volunteer work with refugees, homeless, and Sierra Club ICO - taking inner-city kids into the outdoors. Enjoy bicycling, kayaking, hiking.

I have hosted Couchsurfers, and have been hosted myself. I love to show off the outdoor and urban splendors of my area and look forward to meeting fellow Couchsurfers and world-travelers.

RONIQ: Is a world traveler, accomplished photographer. She is an avid birder/ birdwatcher. She just ended a 30-year career as a hair-stylist and now is exploring the paths and opportunities that come her way. Enjoys birding, photography, yoga, standup paddle-boarding.
