I am currently a nomad traveling and working to see different parts of the world and of my home country (USA). I feel I like my life differently from the average American in that I am always hungry to try something different. I am always up for a new adventure and taking risks in life and love.

I can usually be found with a camera in my hand as I love to capture the beauty in the world around me. I am a huge animal lover and a fan of nature. I love to go on a hike or kayak and take in the world around me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people but can sometimes be a little shy at first. I find fellow travelers or host are usually like minded people and easier to talk to. Meeting locals helps to get a true sense of the culture and lifestyle of a place rather than just the tourist point of view. Locals usually know the best places to eat or something unique about their town. One day I hope to have a place of my own so I can welcome couchsurfers but until than I am happy to connect with fellow travelers and hosts.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all types of music but my go to genre would be classic rock. Bands like the Eagles, Eric Clapton, CCR, the Beatles. I also love Norah Jones, Jason Marz and other easy going guitarists.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have lived in Antarctica for 9 months. One awestruck moment that I had was seeing an spectacular display of the southern lights. The lights danced across the sky for about an hour. Even though I was freezing I couldn't stop watching and being amazed at the beauty.

Another amazing thing I've done is worked as a dog sled musher taking people on dog sled rides and working with some amazing Alaskan huskies in the white mountains of New Hampshire

What I Can Share with Hosts

Great company! Stories of my adventures in around the world or dog mushing in New Hampshire. I am also very tidy and clean up after myself. I'm not the most skilled cook but I would love to share a meal or do the clean up after one.
