We are Cody and Angie!
Cody is from Arizona, Angie from Utah. We quit our jobs in 2022 to travel. Both hold a passion for the outdoors, meeting new people, learning about culture and sharing in local cuisine/experiences.

PHILOSOPHY:
Connection is the spice of life, only made better when paired with adventure.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Like to do rad things with likeminded people. Hope to experience the heartbeat of a given destination through locals. Happy to return the favor by hosting couchsurfers when we settle down from travel.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Cody has used CS during his travels and loved each experience. Some of his most memorable experiences from past travels have been with a local.
Angie is newer to CS but comes with a background of taking part in communal living, hostels, off-grid living, etc.

Intereses

We both share intermediate to advanced abilities in various outdoor hobbies. Have led many group trips/excursions and been apart of many. Also down for mellow and simple adventures. Main hobbies include canyoneering, mtn biking, backcountry ski/splitboard, rock climbing, backpacking, mountaineering, etc.

Angie: Music interest is a large range, I hold appreciation for all kinds of music. Enjoy reading historical fiction, self-development books, memoirs, history, non-fiction--I also enjoy listening to podcasts. I avoid horror or gory movies.

Cody: My music preferences encompass a broad spectrum and my taste in movies is equally eclectic. My energy level is such that books, unless they're audio, rarely hold my interest though I read the news regularly.

Angie: Caring for those with dementia.

Cody: My life is like a "bucket list" oscillating from one adventure to the next interrupted only by the pesky need to work in order to support my travel habit. Highlights include rappelling down a 360 foot waterfall, diving with sharks, and climbing volcanoes.
