About Me
•••••••••••••
The trick is not getting caught in hope and fear. We can put our whole heart into whatever we do, but if we freeze our attitudes into for or against, we are setting ourselves up for stress. Instead, we could just go forward with curiosity, wondering where this experiment would lead. -Trungpa Rinpoche; Pema Chödrön
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Culture and nature are two of the most important factors in my life. I love to be in a room filled with laughter and genuine communication. I love learning from others and expanding all elements of my psyche. I am a great conversationist when I am feeling extroverted and love to see through new eyes, talk with new plants, and breathe new air into my open lungs.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have met some of my best friends through couch surfing. I absolutely love this website. Makes me happy to know there are so many kind people out there willing to connect. Once I settle in my own spot I will be so happy to host travelers!
Interests
I love being outside beneath a canopy of trees. Maybe somewhere I can smell the ocean, or even just the smell of wet wood. I have an infatuation for the rain and the sun that shines on the dew afterwards. My happy place is setting my hammock up in the mossy woods somewhere by a river. With a good book and some hot tea. Nature is my church - Meditation is my medicine. Also I literally cannot help but dance if there is any kind of Latin music playing.
I love places with deep history, learning other languages and about the culture that has thrived in the spaces I am so blessed to explore within.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lived in Barcelona while Catalonia was attempting to separate from Spain. News on every tv as you walked down the boulevards, the presidents voice echoing through the alleys with people gathered in doorways to watch the speech. Protests down the roads - pro spain, pro Catalonia, and a group of individuals for total succession from both, right down the road I was living on and through the city center. Living there during this time and being able to learn from people from all walks of life was an incredibly eye-opening experience.
