ABOUT ME
Hi, I've been bitten by the travel bug, and enjoy visiting new places and getting to know new people. For the last three years I've been teaching English as a second language in various places in Asia and North Africa. I'd like to think I'm a funny quirky person, with a few stories to swap.
PHILOSOPHY
I really like the idea of couchsurfing for the social aspect. It relates well with my personal philosophy of trying to be social and getting to know more about people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm available to meet up in Taipei.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm a newbie. But I like the idea, and everyone I've met so far has been very kind. I'm working on racking up some more references, and improving my profile - so any ideas would be much appreciated :)
Interests
traveling (of course), reading, writing, hiking. I LOVE the outdoors. My favorite activities alternate between outdoor activities and reading in a hammock.

Music, Movies, and Books
I really enjoy reading, and some of my favorite authors are Paul Theroux, Kurt Vonnegut, Tom Robbins, and manny many others. I think Shantaram is one of the best books I've read, even though it's not fun carrying around a 900 page book in your backpack!
