PHILOSOPHY

We are evolving as a species.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have used the service to search for friends, couches, work, computer help and adventures. I have offered rides, helped in house hold chores, shared food and stories.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My friend Michelle told me about cs. In a less official capacity I had couch surfed at her place a few times while helping her with events that she was organizing. Since I signed up, I have couch surfed in Calgary, Canada; Lima, Peru; and Bristol & Stroud England; all over Ireland. Plus I have contacted locals to get the inside scoop of a place.

All experiences have been very interesting and that is positive.

Interests

Healthy Living: juicing; miracle ball...a form of body work; sharing dreams and stories; painting blocks; fancy house painting; finding cool things in the garbage; watching animals and being in nature.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like movies that are visually interesting, make me think and laugh. Independently produced documentaries and art films are great or movies that combine mediums like film and theatre, The Adventures of Baron Munchausen, Moulin Rouge...others I liked were Momento, Across the Universe.

I tend to read non-fiction books. The books that have influenced me the most are Joseph Murphy and "The Power of the Subconscious Mind"; Betty Edwards, "Drawing on the Right Side of your Brain"; Lyn Buchanan, "The Seventh Sense"; Peter Tomkins and Christopher Bird, "The Secret Life of Plants"; Marshall Rosenberg, Non-Violent Communication. And I truly intent to read "Confessions of an Economic Hitman" by John Perkins

I like all kinds of music from all over the world and I have had the privilege to see much of it live but I'm bad at remembering the names of most of the acts I've seen.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been learning how to affect my reality by managing my thought patterns.

Teach, Learn, Share

1)Miracle Ball Lesson, a very gentle form of body work that has helped me recover from various injuries.
2)Juicing
3)Pet Care, all kinds of animals are welcome in my home
